Dating should feel exciting, not risky. These guidelines help you keep it that way — read them once, and trust your instincts always.

Before you meet

Keep conversations on the app until you trust the person — our systems can only protect chats that happen here.
Video chat first. A quick call confirms they're who their photos say they are.
Never send money or share financial information, no matter how compelling the story. That's always a scam.
Don't share your home or work address, daily routine, or other identifying details early on.

Meet in a public place — a café, restaurant, or busy park. Not your home, not theirs.
Tell a friend where you are going, who you are meeting, and when you expect to be back.
Arrange your own transportation there and back so you can leave whenever you want.
Keep your phone charged and with you.
If something feels off, leave. You don't owe anyone an explanation.

Profile photos can be searched in reverse — do it if you have doubts about someone.
Watch for people who claim to love you quickly but always have a reason not to meet or video chat.
Be wary of anyone who tries to move you to another app immediately.
Report profiles asking for money, gifts, or personal documents — even if the conversation felt genuine.

Use the Report action on any profile — reports are confidential and reviewed by our moderation team.
Reporting someone also blocks them: they disappear from your discovery, and you from theirs.
You can block anyone pre-emptively from their profile — no match required.
If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

No paying or charging per message, and no selling access to a person, attention, dates, affection, or companionship.
No compensated dating, sugar dating, escorting, prostitution, sexual services, pornography, or sexually explicit live chat.
No asking users for money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, investments, loans, financial documents, account access, or off-platform payment.
No minors, age deception, grooming, intimate-image abuse, sexual deepfakes, coercion, stalking, harassment, threats, hate, or impersonation.
