Refund and Cancellation Policy
How refunds, cancellations, trials, renewals, failed payments, and statutory rights work by purchase channel.
Effective 17 July 2026
Key points
- Cancel through the channel where you purchased; deleting the app or account does not automatically cancel an Apple or Google subscription.
- Cancellation normally stops the next renewal, with access continuing through the paid period.
- A lack of replies, matches, dates, relationships, or manifestation results is not by itself a service defect or refund guarantee.
- Duplicate, unauthorized, incorrectly priced, materially unavailable, or legally refundable charges will be reviewed under the applicable channel rules and law.
1. Cancel before the next renewal
Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Cancel early enough for your purchase channel to process the change before renewal. Web subscribers can use Sovrin billing or the Stripe portal; iOS subscribers use Apple subscription settings; Android subscribers use Google Play subscriptions. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
2. Apple App Store purchases
Apple processes the payment and administers refund decisions for purchases made through Apple In-App Purchase. Request a refund through Apple’s official purchase-history or report-a-problem process. Sovrin cannot directly return funds held and controlled by Apple, but support can help identify the product and transaction information.
3. Google Play purchases
Google processes the payment and administers applicable refund requests for Google Play purchases. Use Google Play order history, subscriptions, or its official refund process. Sovrin cannot directly return funds held and controlled by Google, but support can help identify the product and transaction information.
4. Web purchases processed by Stripe
For a web purchase, email support@sovrin.co or open a support ticket with the account email, charge date, amount, plan, reason, and Stripe receipt or transaction reference. Do not send a full card number or security code. We will review the request against service delivery, account use, Terms, fraud indicators, and applicable consumer law.
Except where law requires otherwise, fees already charged are generally non-refundable and cancellation stops future renewal. We may approve a full or partial refund for duplicate or unauthorized billing, an incorrect amount, material service unavailability, a valid cooling-off request, or another equitable or legal reason.
5. Trials, promotions, plan changes, and enforcement
Trial length, eligibility, conversion price, and renewal date are shown before enrollment. Cancel before conversion to avoid the first paid period. Promotional credits generally have no cash value. Plan switches, proration, grace periods, and account holds follow the purchase channel disclosed at confirmation.
Suspension or termination for fraud, chargeback abuse, prohibited sexual commerce, exploitation, or another material violation does not create an automatic refund right, subject always to mandatory law and the controlling store’s rules.
6. Cooling-off and mandatory rights
Your location may provide cancellation, cooling-off, conformity, or refund rights that cannot be waived. Where digital access begins immediately at your request, the law may permit a proportionate charge for service supplied or may affect a withdrawal right. This Policy does not restrict non-waivable rights or remedies.
7. Decision and entitlement changes
We aim to acknowledge web refund requests promptly, but timing depends on verification and the payment network. Approved refunds may take additional business days to appear. A full refund may remove the related entitlement immediately; a cancellation without refund normally leaves access through the paid period.
8. Contact
Billing and web refund requests: support@sovrin.co or the Sovrin support form. Include only the information needed to locate the transaction. For Apple or Google purchases, submit the formal refund request to the applicable store.
